Meet your English teacher Ally H!

Hi there! My name is Ally. I began teaching English as a foreign language in 2018. I have taught English to children aged between 3 to 15 years old who all had various English abilities. I create a learner-centered classroom and ensure to build a good and positive relationship with my students to ensure they develop a love for learning. I always go the extra mile in tailoring my lessons to each students’ abilities, interests, and learning style, to ensure each child learns to the best of their abilities. I care about each one of my students and nothing makes me happier as a teacher than seeing one of my students making progress no matter how big or small. Using a multitude of props helps bring the meaning of the lesson to life and gives the student something concrete to relate it to as well as spark the students' interest in the lesson. I am an out-going person who loves animals, I have a pet dog and a pet cat. I enjoy hiking and playing sports like soccer and squash. I have traveled to many countries and absolutely love learning about new cultures. I can’t wait to meet you and find out more about your hobbies and interest. See you soon super-students!
